Personal Bio:
Approximately 7 years ago my husband, then head of a missions auxiliary requested that I write something, anything inspirational, possibly daily devotionals on the church’s website. Reluctantly I wondered what I'd share. Well now let’s fast forward to a published devotional. I now understand why it was necessary to relocate, confess my after 40 plus year old life struggles and needing to enthusiastically and loving embrace a new ministry goal of adjusting to the particular dynamics of being a newly wed with a blended family and surviving on a meager finances in a new state.; could not have been birthed in my comfort zone of Buffalo,New York. Wilderness experience reveal and birth God's intent. Many moments I experienced an emotional and spiritual avalanche. Oh but God was continually buffering us from the storm! It became quite an interesting journey. During that period I began writing daily inspirational e- messages for the church ‘s website; I quickly resolved that I had plenty to say, but God seemed to witness so much more to me through the tools and references of edifying and reflective scriptures, other inspirational writers and heartfelt lyrics. As a result my work had more depth, insight and substance. One devotional became 52, congregants and friends shared positive feedback-requesting and looking forward to more writings. Others who weren’t familiar with me wondered where the source of the writing originated and to that answer I recount with a smile, “My life and God’s plan!”

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, my book is a collection of personal sentiments/devotionals with biblical reflections meant to uplift, encourage and inspire. These expressions of faith are written for daily devotional time and to compliment one’s personal Bible study. Those that are interested in further testimonies about the devotional may reference my blog and the Barnes and Noble reader’s comments on:

I enjoy sharing my blog and submitting several current devotionals on Blessed Chronicles on:

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Howard University and a Master’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I am an inspirational speaker who enjoys encouraging ministry leaders and lay persons to embrace their calling in life. I reside in Newport News, VA with my husband who is a minister, chaplain, counselor and Family Donor Advocate for LifeNet Health. Together we are parents of 5 children.

You wonder if there’s another book on the horizon? I say enthusiastically, "Oh indeed, I’m just getting started!"
