- Personal Bio:
- I'm a Dreamer who has been writing since middle school. Writing proves to help me navigate my emotions as I journey through life.
Even so, at several points in my childhood I felt like giving up on life. I felt I had no future worth waiting for. A month after high school I attempted suicide. But God intervened and brought me through that dark time and began to reveal to me that there was a purpose for my life.
Since then I have been able to experience many blessings beyond my imagination:
1996 Graduate of Bethun-Cookman University (BA Speech/Mass Comm)
2000 Graduate of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School (MDiv)
2000 July - Married the woman of my dreams (Ijnanya Shipman-Weaver)
Clergy on staff at Thessalonia Baptist Church, Bronx, NY
Traveled to West Africa 8 times so far.
Traveled to Beijing, China and parts of Europe.
Teacher/Speaker to youth, young adults and men
