My motives, through my writings, give an image with no explanation
Causing you to question my travels through life,
My background, learning experiences and occupation.
You felt I climbed the rope of success
Using the platform of the unfortunate's chest
The choices I made in life paved by way,
I learned to work hard, give back and understand the game's society plays.
You questioned my education,

I'm sleepy. I think President Obama made a great decision and picked Sonia Sotomayor to serve as justice on the United States Supreme Court. I've done some work on my main blog, http://luckyrooster.net as well as my other blogs so maybe why I'm feeling a little weary. Hope all of you have a blessed week.

Some men choose to vent anger through violence
Some men choose to vent passion through sex
Some men choose to vent ignorance through hatred
Some men choose not to see what comes next
Some men live a life without reason
Some men live a life without rhyme
Some men live a life in blunder
Some men live with no worth to their time
Some men seek to pour bitterness outward

The world has no need for another weakling.
Another person dragged down by life and trial and circumstance to the point that they simply will not. Will not move, will not stand, will night fight, will not try, will not live and will not be strong. Never mind the fact that there are so many looking at them.
Have you ever taken the time to look about you and see how many eyes are on you? How many of those eyes are of people looking to you for strength and as an example?
There are… Continue

Just got back in.and feel a little tired and energized at the same moment. I'm energized from a biography I'm reading again. A week or two ago I ended up watching "Cadillac Records" one Sunday afternoon. Even with all the mistakes, the movie kept me interested because I'm a guitar player and remember listening to old Muddy Waters records a long time ago. I've still got bootlegs of him live and so I'm reading his bio once again and digging thru old LPs. The story telling aspect is one thing I've… Continue

Blurb:
Kristina Ward is looking for a fresh start. She has just gotten out of a relationship with a married man who also had children. Too bad… Continue
Been on a conference call with the Obama Campaign as we ramp up health care reform. Went out for a long walk this afternoon down a gravel road. Found a dead snake and have no idea how it died or what kind it was. I just moved a little more to the middle of the road away from the weeds along the ditch bank. Fed the cats some leftover chicken and dumplins' and they are so happy right now just stretched out on an old throw rug in the backyard. Talk to ya'll later.

The cold spell began to lift this afternoon. I think I'm making progress and will be writing me a list of must-do activities just so I can jog my memory. On the political front, the health care debate heats up. I'm completely behind a single-payer system because I know that the insurance industry has run health care for way too long and they don't deserve a seat at the negotiation table. It's time for a fresh, liberal approach which will enable all of us to have affordable health care in this… Continue

I didn't realize how cool it has turned. You folks up north go ahead and chuckle. The temperature dropped into the low 50s and now is about 55 F. The forecast predicts lows tonight in the 40s. A little cool for South Carolina this time of year.
