Profile Information

Personal Bio:
Rose Kenney is the founder and publisher of Esther Magazine Communications, Inc.
She grew up in West Philadelphia and escaped from the community “madness” to the public library on 52nd and Market Street. Stepping into the doors of the library was like stepping into first class seating in an airplane and her library card was her passport to any place in the world. Literary heroines or heroes sat next to her and share their stories with her. The only person she has never met were African-American Christian girls like her. Sure, she met black slave girls and girls with risky behavior but never a good girl who just wanted to be an adventurer. All the good girls she met where always white.

Fast forward to the present, Rose dream is to have an airplane full of books for those teenage girls who like to go on adventures. Join her in her travels.
Do you have any published books:
Rose is working on two books at once.
"Red Headed Devil, Thats What My Grandmother Use to Call Me" due out Christmas 2008

"Lotion When Your Knees Get Ashy" due out Mothers Day 2009
Why did you join this group?
Being a writer is my alter ego. I work in a very corporate environment and I need fellowship with creative people
