- I have been writing since I was nine years old. My first play was performed by my fourth grade class. I have won numerous poetry awards. I have sung on numerous gospel recordings. I am the mother of two grown sons and the proud grandmother of five!!

- My first book--Bedford Street Memoirs (Living On My Block in the 60's) was published in 2007.
