Essence of Motown Literary Jam LOCATION HAS CHANGED!

The Riverside Hotel is no longer where our Friday and Saturday (November 7th and 8th) events will take place. Due to sponsorship being very low this conference year and not enough PAID registration taking place prior to the event, we could not afford to pay for that space.

WCCCD NEW Northwest campus has graciously given us the space we need in order to facilitate the conference.

Wayne County Community College District-Northwest Campus
8200 West Outer Drive
Detroit, MI

I hope to see you there… Continue

New Release! "FLOSS" by Monica Marie Jones

Hello my fellow writers!

I am sure that you can all relate to the flashy lifestyle of my hometown Detroit, Michigan and other major cities like it. Well, I wrote a book about it and as I am sure you can imagine it is filled with all of the drama, scandal and action that accompanies a lifestyle based on acquiring material possessions!

For the year 2009, for everyone that leaves a full message on our Guestbook at the end of our website with your First and Last Name, telling us how you personally feel about Child Abuse, we will showcase you on the Honorable Mentions Page on our website, and place a link to your business – regardless of what it is, on our website, which gets over 200 hits a day.

Here’s the link:

We are doing this because in leaving your message on our Guestbook, you are showing us that you are working as hard as we are to save the lives of our African American Children - and therefore you deserve this much. Keep in mind that we are interested in reading your own "Personal" feelings about this Epidemic. We look forward to reading your words on our Guestbook. (Be sure to turn up your Speakers – there is R&B Music on every page!)

I, and the Children who manage to survive this Epidemic, will
never be able to thank you enough.
