Attend a literary conference that is affordable and worth it!

Authors how important is it to attend a conference and not have to pay several hundred dollars to sale your books? How nice would it be to have a video interview promoted and spread across the web? How important is it to be able to gain an author table for only twenty five dollars for two days? Well events like that do exist.

The 2009 AAMBC National Meeting is coming June 13-14 2009. Get connected with many book lovers as it will host panel discussions, book lovers breakfast, radio interviews, neo soul poetry night, work shops, book signings for several hours per day, and so much more. It’s time to be able to promote your self at an affordable cost with a great crowd, people from all over the nation, and so much more. This event will cater to your need for exposure and the need to gain connections. Registration is only 100 for the entire event lasting all day long. But spots are limited for author tables.

Visit www.aambcnationalmeeting.com and register today.

Readers and book clubs we did not leave you out either. The event is open to the public but you must be a registered guest to attend the dinners and book lover’s breakfast. Meet over fifty black authors, publisher, publicist, and literary leaders. Buy affordable books and best part is you can mingle with them for an entire weekend. Do not miss out on your opportunity to get connected. Book clubs of six or more can register at a book club rate, author tour groups can also register at a discounted rate.

The 2009 AAMBC National Meeting will be held at the Radisson Hotel, downtown near the beautiful and historical river walk. For questions email us at events@aambookclub. com

Profile Information

Personal Bio:
Keke Summers is the founder of Keke Summers Publishing, Ltd. She displayed her writing abilities after an emotional time in her life, a born and raised Houstonian she believes the gift of creativeness with words came unquestionable from her Lord and Savour, Jesus Christ, and she has now put those creative skills to work in the ministry.

With over ten (10) years of writing experience, she has everal on-line short stories, four completed fictional novels, one Christian novel, and thirteen gospel plays to her credit. One of which was produced in 1997 at the Main Street Theatre, in Houston, Texas. "Men Need To Exhale Too." In mid 2000 her gospel play "The Ten Virgins" was produced the first time by her church. They have since made it a yearly production.

Her non-christian suspenseful thriller under the pen name of Keke Summers. "A Stranger In My Bed" will be released December 2008.

She decided to self-publish her novel "A Stranger In My Bed," when publishing companies didn't feel that the book would do well with the Africian American readers, but because of the already faithful followers of the book, and a contant harassment for the finished product she followed her instinct and the book is soon ready for readers.

"I have enjoyed writing this book," she says, "and even though it took a lot out of me, at the same time it gave me a sense of accomplishment when it was finally finished."

She had so much success with A Stranger In My Bed, that she has alread began working on the sequel "Hidden Fears to be released in June 2009.
Do you have any published books:
Several on-line published short stories. However my first fiction novel will be released in December of 2008.
