My Poetry

Poetic Justice

Expectorating the daily slime

Through my poetic rhyme

Each stroke of my quill

Flushing away the landfill

Weapon of choice is my intellect

Bring on the next, issue and/or suspect

Pitching stanzas' from my bullpen

Captured on the paper linesmen

Oh its' on its' a prose filled wartime

Through my verse, I will restore peacetime

Jotting fiercely,extinguishing injustice

Slowly, steadily, achieving a poetic justice

My Poetry

Verses from within my sanity

Its' my escape from reality

Deep feelings inside my heart

A gallery of my life'sart

Musical expressions flowing in rhyme

Dancing inside my soul for sometime

Memories & thoughts ,gathered thru ages

Tear drops,Love,&fantasy,fill the pages

Flowing

I formulate like a floods' ferocious flow

Issues,passion, and lessons to grow

Drip, drip, drip, the ink soars, then gush

A fierce ,expressive poetic rush

Exposing my essence, escaping free

Therapeutic,comforting ,pieces of me

Poetic versus dancing across the sheet

Leaving me satisfied,cleansed, and complete

Night Writer

I'm a Night Writer,a Night Owl,hoot hoot

Prose singing tunes ,from my ink filled flute

Purging life's tribulations and tension

Spiraling through a kaleidoscope dimension

As Dawn approaches, I continue savoring

Penetrating, deep thoughts,unwavering

Teardrops

Hear the pitter patter of the raindrops

Flowing along to the tune of my teardrops

Cleansing away the pent up anguish & pain

The tears are flowing ,but not in vain

Tears leave me complacent, under the moonshine

Restoring serenity, as I bask in the sunshine

A Voice For Those Without One

Men, Women ,and Children walk the streets aimlessly
Spat upon , mocked ,abused , beaten, and raped
Treated with malice and contempt
Seeking refuge and mercy
Victimized by the hardhearted
Card board boxes and steam vents a makeshift home
Desperate ,lost ,helpless ,frightened and alone
Who are they ?
Are they not our brothers ,sisters, and children?
Mental illness,foster children,Veterans, and runaways
Addictions and afflictions
Victims of fire ,poverty, unemployment, societies castoffs
Circumstances beyond their control
Inside these battered living Human Beings lies a soul
Our countries black eye
Fractured hearts
Broken spirits
Shunned and forgotten
Men,women,and children
Belongings dragged behind
Are we not also prey?
Two or three loss of pay checks?
With this Country's wealth
There is no justification
Merely lack of humanity
Dumpsters provide food to eat
Hope has flown away ,sore aching feet
Seeking a divine intervention
From fellow man
Are they not Human?
Where is the compassion and empathy for fellow our man?
Shelters unfit and filled with crime
There only escape from the streets and grime
Devastation no longer any tears to cry
Hour to hour minute to minute survival
In a concrete war zone of peers
Endless heartache and fears
As ,I sit here in a warm loving home
My heart aches and tears flow
I pray someone out there knows I care
My promise to you is I will always be fair
May Angels protect you keep you safe
When I greet you I will place money in your hand
Smile and treat you with respect
As ,I walk away I will cry glass tears
And you will remain in my daily thoughts and prayers
Cause, I know there but fore the grace of GOD go I
