My brothers and I are some of the fortune one's and it has helped shape each of us to be men, so your son (Amen-Rah) is fortune indeed.
I think lulu is a good start for someone breaking into self-publishing and/or may be used to compliment your sells. However, you may look into creating your own system to ensure you keep a hire profit margin. The make money self publishing site gives you access to the same system I use to publish my ebooks.
You may want to visit the music business blog for information on the music industry.
