Profile Information

Personal Bio:
I am a writer of Ebony and Interracial erotica who shatters the common, stereotypical and derogatory perpetuations of Black sexuality. The time of showing Black men as barely-literate bucks and black women as ghetto whores is gone. Black erotica is more than stories of rappers and athletes flaunting material wealth and black women exchanging sex for goods and services. So much of what is written about Black sexuality is not written from an authentic perspective. The rest of Ebony erotica is written for a market that is so starved for anything that dismal erotica passes as quality because there is a dearth of options available. I work diligently to show Black characters that are multi-dimensional, complex, sexual human beings and I focus on character development. The sex in my erotica, intense and hardcore, serves as a backdrop to a compelling story and socially relevant topics. I have been able to tap into the growing and rarely-discussed trend of white submission and interracial and Ebony fascination in general to construct intricate tales of love and lust within a well-constructed literary body of work. I also write articles on Black race, culture and sexuality. I serve as columnist or contributor for Op-Ed pieces as well.
Do you have any published books:
I'm looking for an investor for my manuscript currently. In Loving Color is the intelligent, socially conscious, Afrocentric alternative to ghetto/urban erotica. In Loving Color is a collection of twelve erotic stories that shows African Americans in a healthy erotic light and works to dismantle the negative and stereotypical depictions of Black sexuality. The book has three sections; each section has four erotic stories. Section one is dedicated to heterosexual Black erotica, section two features alternative expressions of Black sexuality, and the final section shows interracial erotic stories. Optimally, In Loving Color will be a bedside/coffee table book of Ebony and interracial erotica with beautiful photography. The true innovation of the book will be the stunning images that compliment the subject matter and storylines. Each story has a unique plot with complex characters and innovative and daring ways to examine black sexuality. In Loving Color feeds the passions of the entire Black community, of every sexual orientation, in one book, it embraces standards of beauty that fall outside the narrowly defined standard of attractiveness, and it opens a window of perspective to mainstream readers that shows the true diversity of African Americans.

I'm a writer.

My name is Scottie Lowe and I am the owner and founder of AfroerotiK.com. Essentially, I create erotica, for an about people of color, that shows us in a healthy, beautiful, sensual light. It’s time to show people of African descent in a positive light rather than the degrading and offensive way the media constantly depicts us.

People ask me all the time why I started writing erotica. My response is and has always been, that I am a single, highly-educated, African-centered, Black woman who is not aroused by dogs, thugs, pimps, drug dealers, basketball players, or rappers and I'm not a ghetto hoochie, ghetto whore, nor am I a ghetto big booty freak. Where do I turn for sexual arousal? I started writing erotica because there was nothing that spoke to me. I started writing erotica because I don't find interracial images of black men fucking white women to be arousing and I'm not represented by Black women with weaves, fake nails, and stripper shoes who have no clue what it is to be sensual, only sexual. I'm a 42 year old woman who hasn't been in a relationship in so long that it boggles the mind and I'm tired of men approaching me and thinking that just because I have a big booty and they have a big SUV, that I'm going to have sex with them. That's why I started writing erotica. I wanted to have something that spoke to men, that represented the types of relationships that I was looking for, that get me wet, that allowed me to masturbate to something that represented my view of Black life. I can't be the only woman, the only Black person, who wants or needs to find a sexual outlet that isn't sanitized and sterile but that isn't degrading and cliche either.

Mr. AfroerotiK Application

I’ve given up on finding love. It’s just not going to happen for me. I’ve learned my lesson and I’m prepared to spend the rest of my life alone. I’m not saying that there aren’t any good men out there; I’m saying that the men that I attract are not emotionally mature nor are they capable of vibrating on the same level as I am.

That being said, I’ve created a fool-proof method to get rid of any potential bothersome men who might try to distract me and convince me that true love might in fact be… Continue

This was perhaps, the most difficult story I’ve ever written. No, this was, by far, without a doubt, the hardest story I’ve ever written. It challenged me in ways that no other story has even come close to doing.

I got the idea to write a story about a black man and a white woman because my repertoire is dangerously light on that theme. I have a ton of stories about white men with Black women, mostly driven by the fact that w… Continue
