People of Difference by Stavinoga is the genealogy of my paternal grandmother, who grew up in Sweetwater, Tennessee. She moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to raise her family which is still united today.The first part of the book is a narration of history, as I understood it, about slavery, slavery and the Cherokee Nation, east Tennessee during slavery, and the slaveowners of my family. The second part are accounts given to me by family members about our g-g-great grandparents, other family members, and their lives in the nineteeth through the twentieth century.

Moments of Feelings by Stavinoga was my first published book for the market. You can find it at Amazon, Target, or through the publisher Trafford. Momemts of Feelings is about a young girl who leaves her hometown, family and friends; gets hired by a big law firm, and learns what life is about. The story of Ayna's life is layered with situations, indecisions, and choices. Included in the book are a number of poems called Ayna's Songs. FYI: the rose on the front is from my garden.
