Glad tidings and warm thoughts Fellow Authors,

We've decided to brave the cold. January 15 through 19, 2010 the Author Collective will shake hands with and share a cup of warm cider with 9,000 plus librarians of the northeast United States and elsewhere. The American Library Association Mid-Winter will be held in Boston, Massachusetts and what better way to showcase your book?

Past conventions have indicated that two specific genres are now in big demand, "Children" and "Urban" titles. As such we are planning to include a separate section in our booth dedicated to Urban Fiction and Non-Fiction plus books that instruct and educate children from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. This is in response to the invitation that you will buy 1000 books from any member who respond to the topic of Child Abuse by 1/10/10. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse I have a lot to say, but I am not exactly sure of what you are asking. Could you send me more information?
